Social Security Secretary Shirley-Anne Somerville visited the Citizen's Advice bureau (CAB) today to discuss the roll out of universal credit with Beniamin Napier, Chief Executive of Citizen's Advice Services in Edinburgh ; Aaliya Seyal, Citizen's Advice Scotland Director for Client Journey and with CAB clients affected by the changes. Around 10,000 people apply for universal cfreadit each m onth nand those applying now will not receive any funds they are due until after Christmas due to the five-week waiting time for claims to be processed
