New Champions in the BLCCs. The defending champions in both the men's and women's senior events at the British Lead Climbing Championships were pushed into second place by new winners at this weekend's competition at the EICA, Ratho. In the men's category, Dave Barrans just pipped Ed Hamer, while in the women's event local favourite Nat Berry was beaten by the smallest of margins by Shauna Coxsey. Nat did get a small measure of revenge by beating Shauna in the first British Speed Climbing Championship that was held following the lead climbing competition.
